JEROME HUNTER
Former telecommunications employee
GRAYSON, Ky. Services for Jerome Hunter will be held today at 2 p.m. at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Ky., with the Rev. James Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Ison Cemetery on Four Mile Road.
Mr. Hunter, 46, of Grayson, formerly of Enterprise, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Grayson.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Phillips of Grayson; daughters, Jarmen Randleman and Sarah Cathey, both of Elyria, Ohio and Jessica Thompson of Norfolk, Va.; sons, Joshua Cathey, and Jess Cathey, of Norwalk, Ohio and Clifford Cathey of Grayson; three brothers, Jerry Hunter of Washington, D.C., Donnie Ray Hayes of Meridian ; and Christopher Hunter of Forest; four sisters, Rita Perkins and Sandra Ramsey of Meridian and Carolyn Hunter and Marilyn Hunter of Forest and 19 grandchildren.

BILOXI Services for Mitchell Bradley will be held today at 1 p.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill. Burial will be in East Galilee Cemetery in Rose Hill. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bradley, 43, of Biloxi, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Gulfport.
Survivors include his parents, Fred and Evelyn Bradley of Biloxi; grandmother, Willie Mae Dukes of Rose Hill, a son, Tavares Bradley and his wife, Rose, of Little Rock, Ark., two granddaughters, an aunt, Earnestine Oliver of Pachuta; godmother, Katie Dukes of Natchez; several other relatives and friends.
V.A. WOLVERTON
Retired security officer
UNION Graveside services for V.A. Wolverton will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery with the Rev. Warren Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wolverton, 84, of Union, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at the V.A. Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home and 12:30 p.m.-1:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
WILLIE R. RASH
Iron worker
Graveside services for Willie R. Rash will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rash, 60, of Bloomington, Ill., died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, in Bloomington. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during Vietnam with honors attached to a Special Recon Division. He was a native of Lauderdale County.
Survivors include two daughters Michelle and Crissy, a son, Scott William Gardner, sisters, Paulene Wilkinson, Lilian Scarbrough and Helen Knight, brothers, Jimmy Rash, J.W. Rash and Robert Rash, all of Collinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Audie Stephens Rash, and a brother, Billie Davis Rash.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
CHARLOTTE FAULKENS
Services for Charlotte Faulkens will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Faulkens, 73, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda J. Jimerson of Hamden, Conn., and Charlotte M. Shelton of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, Ollie Ray Jr. of Anaheim, Calif., and Charles Ray of Gulfport; a sister, Alice Shack of Meridian; two brothers, Willie Boyd Jr. of Bronx, N.Y., and John Carter of New Haven, Conn.; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
LILLIE BYRD
Homemaker
Services for Lillie Byrd will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Little Hope M.B. Church with the Rev. Lamar Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Byrd, 94, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Benchmark Health Care.
Survivors include two brothers, Woodrow Smith, of Mobile, Ala.; and Norman Smith of Lancaster, Calif.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Byrd and a son, Joseph Blanton.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
