90th birthday
Sadie Felton Burt celebrated her 90th birthday at Lost Gap United Methodist Church with family and friends. She was born Aug. 8, 1912, in Kemper County.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Monroe C. "Bo" Johnson celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 27, 2002, with family and friends. The event was hosted by their children Terry Pippin, Bill Pippin and Ken Johnson; and their grandchildren, Brittany, Reid, Erin and Cade. They were married Sept. 27, 1952.
60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Thrash celebrated their 60th anniversary Sept. 12, 2002. They were married in Neshoba County. Earlier this year the couple renewed their vows at a family reunion at the Vicksburg Convention Center. They have a daughter, Patsy Ridinger, and two grandchildren, Kim Ridinger and Casey Ridinger.
