Southeast takes Philadelphia, 10-7

Six Lady Tigers picked up multiple hits to lead Southeast Lauderdale to a 10-7 road slow-pitch softball win over Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Lindsey Raines was 3-for-4 at the plate for the 2-8 Lady Tigers of SEL, while Stacy McMullen had a single and double and Leanne Workman, Courtney Graham, heather Ward and Jessica Rose had two hits each.
Southeast Lauderdale faces Choctaw Central on Thursday.
West Lauderdale 10
Choctaw Central 5
The Lady Knights of West Lauderdale scored five runs in the top of the eighth to take the 10-5 win over homestanding Choctaw Central on Tuesday.
West Lauderdale built a 5-0 lead, before the Lady Warriors scored four times in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game. WL had 13 hits and committed five errors in the game.
Kristina Gardner and Amy Frazier had a single and double each for the winners, while Kirby Rutledge, J.J. Huggins and Jessica Moore had two singles each.
West Lauderdale hosts Newton County at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Neshoba Central 21
Newton High 2
The Lady Rockets jumped all over the homestanding Newton High School Lady Tigers to take the 21-2 win.
Lindsey Smith, the winning pitcher in the game, ripped a double and two singles for Neshoba Central, while Dacie Brantley had a single and double.
Sarah Williamson and Amber Dean had two hits each for Neshoba Central, which travels to Burnside Park on Thursday to face Philadelphia High School.
Winston Academy 15
Canton 0
Anna Ard tossed a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Lady Patriots to the 15-0 win over Canton on Tuesday.
She also got the job done at the plate ripping a single and double. WA had six hits in all and made no errors. Canton made four errors.
Winston hosts Starkville today at 4 p.m.
