Music, dance, gymnastics and the coolest back-to-school attire available are all a part of a back-to-school fashion event Saturday at Bonita Lakes Mall.
The "Back To Cool Fashion Event" is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Center Court and will feature members of the Bonita Lakes Mall Fashion Council in back-to-school merchandise available at various mall stores.
More than 60 models representing 15 of the mall's retailers will take part in the show. White said the music selected for the show caters to the back to school-aged kids and young adults for today.
The routine for each store represented has been specially choreographed to make the scenes different.
Unlike most fashion shows, commentary will be limited. Each store will be announced as the models enter the stage, but a description of what each model is wearing will not be read.
White said the finale will feature all the models on stage, audience participation and a special musical presentation by Christen Reeves, a senior at Northeast Lauderdale High School.
Stores scheduled to be represented include 5-7-9, American Eagle, Buckle, Dillard's, Gadzooks, Gap, Gymboree, Hibbett Sports, J.C. Penney, Kid's Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Lane Bryant, Lerner New York, McRae's and Underground.
For more information about the show, visit the mall's Web site at http://www.bonitalakesmall.com.
