Crotts, Valentine

Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Crotts of Columbia, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Janet Leigh, to Dr. John David Valentine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Valentine of Newton.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 27, 2002, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Columbia.
Miss Crotts is the granddaughter of Stella H. Crotts of Savannah, Tenn., and the late Walter E. Crotts and the late Joe Leland and Jessie Stanfill of Santa Fe, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Columbia Academy and a 2001 graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Dr. Valentine is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Rivers of Union, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Valentine of Decatur.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and the University of Mississippi. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr. Valentine is a surgery resident of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.
A reception will be held at the historic Rattle and Snap Plantation following the ceremony.
Friends and family are invited to attend.
