Mr. and Mrs. Charles Larry Stokes of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Christina, to Shawn O'Neal Eley, son of Dorothy Eley and Charlie Harris of Clarksdale.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 6, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Collinsville.
Miss Stokes is the granddaughter of Sammie Bourrage of Meridian and the late Mattie Hodges Bourrage, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stokes of Collinsville.
The bride-elect is an honor graduate of Meridian High School. She received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in speech communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Stokes is employed as a speech communication instructor at Meridian Community College.
Mr. Eley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Harris, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eley, all of Clarksdale.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarksdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mr. Eley is employed at WebMD as a sales associate in Memphis, Tenn.
