Mississippi Symphony Orchestra headlines at UWA

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra will present a concert performance at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Bibb Graves Auditorium on the campus of the University of West Alabama in Livingston.
The Sumter County Fine Arts Council will sponsor the concert.
The first half of the concert is expected to highlight classical themes including works by Franz Lizst, Edvard Grieg, Anatol Liadov and Camille Saint-Saens. The second half will feature current works, such as themes from popular movies.
Slated to be performed in the second half are John Barry's "James Bond Theme," Andrew Lloyd Webber's music from "Jesus Christ Superstar," and John Williams music from "Star Wars."

Tickets for the concert are $7 for adults and free for UWA students with identification and members of the Sumter County Fine Arts Council.
The Sumter County Fine Arts Council is sponsored in part by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, with the assistance of the National Endowment for the Arts.
