Mayerhoff, Laird

Misty Laird of Little Rock and Marshall Mayerhoff of Meridian were married Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, in a private ceremony in Mentone Wedding Chapel atop Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Ala.
The parents of the couple are James and Renee Laird of Little Rock and Fletcher and Wanda Mayerhoff of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Inez Munn and the late Billy Munn and Mr. and Mrs. James B. Laird Sr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Mayerhoff Sr. of Meridian, and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Coleman of Noxapater.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless dress with embroidered appliques and wore a veil edged in satin piping.
After a honeymoon to Mentone, the couple resides in Meridian. Mrs. Mayerhoff is employed as a third grade teacher at Newton County Elementary School in Decatur. Mr. Mayerhoff is employed with Mayerhoff Logging.
