Rigdon, Carpenter

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rigdon of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Kasper of Pachuta announce the engagement of his daughter, Susan Gabrielle Rigdon, to William Thomas Carpenter III, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. "Bill" Carpenter of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 18, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the Church of the Way in Meridian.
Miss Rigdon is the granddaughter of Joyce Skinner and the John A. Rigdon Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Oliver, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in elementary education at Mississippi State University. Miss Rigdon is employed by the Bible Bookstore.
Mr. Carpenter is the grandson of Mary Nell Carpenter and the late W.T. "Sonny" Carpenter, and Mr. and Mrs. H. L. "Pete" Denton, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of The King's Academy and received a degree in general business from Mississippi State University. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Mississippi State University. Mr. Carpenter is employed by the Bible Bookstore.
A reception will be held at the church's family life center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
