JEANNE H. NORWOOD
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend
Memorial services for Jeanne H. Norwood will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Mitchell Military Cemetery in Ft. Benning, Ga.
Mrs. Norwood, 77, of Meridian, died Monday, March 25, 2002, in her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include a son, Leonard L. Norwood and his wife, Diane K., of Sanford, N.C.; daughters, Fan N. Pigford and her husband, Richard A., of Vicksburg and Jeanne N. Fort and her husband, William Douglas "Doug," of Meridian; grandsons, Richard N. Pigford and William Douglas Fort Jr., of Meridian; granddaughters, Laurie P. Brock and her husband, Jeremy, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jessica "Jessi" G. Fort of Meridian; a sister, Bobbie H. Bailey of Manchester, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Gee Gee Hancock of York, Ala., and their families; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Norwood Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hancock; and a brother, Maurice "Buddy" Hancock.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
BRADLEY SMITH

Services for Bradley Smith were to be held today at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Revs. Andrew Murry and Jimmy Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Tippo Cemetery at 4 p.m. today. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bradley, 14, of Collinsville, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Albert and D. Smith, brothers, Albert Braun Smith and Eric Thomas Smith, all of Collinsville; paternal grandparents, Wilson and Jean Smith of Swan Lake; and his maternal grandfather, Ted Stuart of Hattiesburg.
GEORGE FRANKLIN LAND

BUTLER, Ala. Services for George Franklin Land will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be in New Lusk Cemetery.
Mr. Land, 65, of Butler, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Wayne Land and Jackie Land, of Gilbertown; brothers, Rudder Land of Butler, Willie G. Land and Clete Land of Gilbertown; sisters, Mary Woodard of Coffeeville, Rosie Lee Anderson and Sara Ruth Daniels of Gilbertown; and six grandchildren.
JERROD HAGUEWOOD
East Central Community College student
Services for Jerrod Haguewood will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roy Dabbs and Edd Holloman officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Haguewood, 20, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, in Lauderdale County. He was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He worked at the Super Stop Ice Plant and was a student at East Central Community College in Decatur.
Survivors include his parents, Roger and Cathy Haguewood, a sister, Deanne Haguewood, a brother, Christopher Haguewood and his wife, Joni, grandparents, Leo and Ina Mae Haguewood, all of Meridian; and his grandparents, Paul Goldman and Lucille Goldman, both of Quitman.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Haguewood, Joseph White, Jason Carr, Chad Carney, Eric Ridout, Adam McRee, Patrick Taylor, Brent Barry, Jonathan Berry and Allen Carr.
DORIS JULIA VANVICKLE

SEBASTOPOL Memorial services for Doris Julia VanVickle will be held today at 3 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating.
Mrs. VanVickle, 85, of Walnut Grove, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Michael VanVickle of Walnut Grove and Vern Bagstad of Texas; two sisters, Kathleen Clauson and Loraine Daniels, both of Minnesota; brothers, Eldon Bagstad of California and Albert Bagstad of Florida; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Veron VanVickle.
GORDON RUDD
Retired factory worker
UNION Services for Gordon Rudd will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Neshoba Baptist Church with the Revs. Johnny Collins and Howell Thrash officiating. Burial will be in Wheatfield Methodist Church Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rudd, 83, of the Wheatfield Community in Union, died Monday, March 25, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Avaree Pinter Rudd, two daughters, Judy Rudd and Rachel Moody, all of Union; a son, Joe Rudd of Livonia, Mich.; a sister, Charlie Mae Taylor of Union; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
RALPH STRICKLIN
Services for Ralph "Pop" Stricklin will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ark., with the Rev. Fred Haustein officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mr. Stricklin, 82, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was retired from Grace Electric Co., and a supervisor of maintenance at the Carl R. Reng Center at Arkansas State University for a number of years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Battery "C" 206 Coastal Artillery of the Arkansas National Guard.
Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Rogers of Marked Tree, Doris Lummus of Toomsuba and Maxine Gilmore of Jonesboro.
