MRS. W.R. CANNADY
Retired legal secretary
Services for Mrs. W.R. "Lucille" Cannady will be held today at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Bird officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Cannady, 88, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She had been active in the family real estate business and was a legal secretary. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, Garden Study Club, King's Daughters Ernest Workers Circle, Wednesday Bridge Club, and was a past officer of the Ladies Golf Association at Northwood Country Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Weeks and her husband, Charles, of Clinton; a son, Norman A. Cannady and his wife, Peggy, of Pascagoula; five grandchildren, William R. Cannady III, Perri Coffey and Gus Weeks, all of Madison, Nicole Boulton of Gautier and Norman Cannady Jr. of Oxford; five great-grandchildren, Mark Allen Ros, Mary Thomas Boulton and Keylee Boulton, all of Gautier, Hayden Coffey and Peyton Coffey of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. "Bill" Cannady; and a son, William R. "Billy" Cannady Jr.
The family requests memorials be made to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be William R. Cannady III, Gus Weeks, Norman Cannady Jr., Mark Allen Ros, Danny Coffey, Andy Boulter, Spencer Sublett and Charles Weeks.

Retired U.S. Navy
Services for Jack W. Gordon will be held today at 7 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Davey Wilkinson officiating. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Mr. Gordon, 77, of Meridian, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Gordon of Meridian; a son, Perry A. Gordon, two grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Gordon, all of Lauderdale; two sisters, Martha Gipson of Lauderdale and Marguerite Govoni of Fredericksburg, Va.; and a brother, David Gordon of Dothan, Ala.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bill McKinnon
Retired cow trucker
Services for Bill McKinnon will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Boggan officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Baptist Church Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McKinnon, 69, of Rose Hill, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at his home. He was a retired cow trucker.
Mr. McKinnon was a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran, a mason, and a wagon train rider.
Survivors include two children, Regina Rigdon of Quitman, Becky Porter and husband Billy of Rose Hill; grandchildren Shawn Smith, Clint Smith, Kyle Porter, Chrissy Porter, Christopher Dean and Christy Grayson; four great-grandchildren, Kayla Grayson, Kelsey Lucas, Kacey Lucas and Cody Lucas; mother, Daisey McKinnon of Causeyville; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur McKinnon; sisters, Jean Hall and Floy Steinbone; and grandson, Justin Scrivner.
Visitation will be today from 5p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Herman McKinnon, Daniel Gray, Buddy Hester, Charles Speed, Shawn Smith, Clint Smith, Johnny Alexander and Larry Crenshaw.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Porter, Christopher Dean and Cody Lucas.
