OUIDA MAE RASCOE

QUITMAN Services for Ouida Mae Rascoe will be held today at 2 p.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in Stonewall Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rascoe, 77, of Quitman, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby and Billy Rascoe, both of Stonewall; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 p.m.-2 p.m. at the church.
EDGAR TALMADGE SMITH
Retired electrician
Services for Edgar "Smitty" Talmadge Smith will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Terry officiating. Burial will be in Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, 77, of Pine Springs Community, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
A member of Antioch Southern Methodist Church, he was a World War II veteran and retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Smith, of Pine Springs Community; four children, Jerry W. Smith and his wife Fran, of Long Beach, Joyce S. Williamson and her husband Billy A., of Pine Springs Community, Charlie E. Smith and his wife Margie, of Meridian, and Ron Smith and his wife LaDonna, of Collinsville; 11 grandchildren, Trisha Bonner and her husband Alan, Jeff Smith and his wife Janet, Jason Smith, Amanda Williamson, Russ Williamson, Misti Smith, Brandi Smith, Cody Fuller, Heather McNeill and her husband Frank, Smitty Smith and Matt Smith; four great-grandchildren; an aunt, Belle Calvert, of Pine Springs Community; an uncle, Buck Pace, of Washington State; daughter-in-law, Dale Smith, of Meridian; brother-in-law, Leon Richardson, of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ebbie Smith; and a sister, Beth Richardson.
The family requests that memorials be made to Gideon's Bibles.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Jason Smith, Alan Bonner, Russ Williamson, Smitty Smith and Matt Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Fuller, Frank McNeill and Murry E. Rogers.
EDNA GREEN

PHILADELPHIA Services for Edna B. Green will be held today at 3 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in Longino Cemetery.
Mrs. Green, 92, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Neshoba County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna E. Morgan; two sons, Virgil A. Green and Lavern Green; a sister, Claudia Cox, all of Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. (Bill) Green in 1984.
The family requests that memorials be sent to Longino Baptist Church Alzheimer's Fund.
HAZEL LAVENE COCHRAN LONG

NEWTON Services for Hazel Lavene Cochran Long will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tony Henry and Gerald Gamble officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery in Bolivar County at 4 p.m. Monday with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Long, 79, of Newton, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was a native of Attala County and attended Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Beverly McKnight, of Kilmichael, Jeanette Sullivan, of Oxford, and Debbie Dennis, of Lake; a son, David Cochran, of Brandon; a sister, Mamie Mackemson, of Eupora; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Cochran; sisters, Oteal Brown, Dorothy Casey, Ecusl Cook, and Annie Pugh; brothers, J.B. Parker and Larcey Davis.
Pallbearers will include Jimmy Gilliam, Jamie Perry, Mike McKnight, Dennis Wills, Barney Green, Dennis Wills Jr., and Levi Wills.
Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
EDNA WIGGINS BOREN
DEKALB Services for Edna Wiggins Boren will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Kemper County. Burial will be in Bay Springs Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boren, 78, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, in Meridian.
Final arrangements were incomplete.
OLLIE WATSON

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Ollie Watson will be held Monday at noon at First United Methodist Church in Butler with the Revs. Gary Williams and Daniel H. Compton officiating. Burial will be in Butler City Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Watson, 95, of Butler, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Mobile Infirmary.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Puckett, of Mobile, Mary Olive Puckett, of Decater, and Evelyn Watson, of Butler; and a son, Myles A. Watson, of Mobile; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11 a.m.-noon at the church.
JEWELL WILLIAMS TAYLOR
Services for Jewell Williams Taylor will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, 82, of Springhill Community, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at her residence.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the services at the church.
WAYNE SUTHERLAND

Services for Wayne Sutherland will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl White officiating.
Mr. Sutherland, 51, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his father, Jim Sutherland; a sister, Sharon Johnson; a brother, Steve Sutherland; and a niece, Laura Johnson, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Sutherland.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Larry Johnson, Phil Davis, Hubert Bullock, Wayne Mangum, Chad Morgan and Gene Joiner.
ORA HONEYCUTT FLUCKER

Services for Ora Honeycutt Flucker will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fifth Street Baptist Church with the Rev. W.C. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Flucker, 80, of Meridian, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at her residence.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Bady, Lucille Ratcliff and Juanita Lowery, all of Meridian; two sisters, Peggy Ann Chisolm, of Flint, Mich., and Maude Eades, of Miami; and 15 grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
