Nixon, Hancock

Sandra Hancock and Mark Nixon were united in marriage Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Mountain Valley Wedding Chapel in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
Parents of the couple are Hilton and Linda Bozeman of Philadelphia, and Doug and Ann Martin of Rose Hill.
Grandparents of bride are Naomi Caldwell of Philadelphia and the late Tillman Caldwell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bozeman.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Helen Davis of Rose Hill and the late Charles Davis.
Escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a sleeveless gown of ivory satin. Three bands of silk entwined the bodice. The waist-length three-tier veil of tulle, edged with satin ribbon fell from a pearl comb. She carried a bouquet of Leonida roses.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Tabitha Davis, sister of the bride. Flower girls were Jada Barnes, sister of the bride, and Lauren Davis, niece of the bride. Serving as best man was David Davis, uncle of the bridegroom.
Following a honeymoon in the Smokey Mountains, the couple resides in Rose Hill.
