Nick and Denise Pouncey of Saucier announce the birth of a son, Carson Goodwin, on Oct. 2, 2001, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
Grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Dennis Goodwin of Bay Minette, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Pouncey of Decatur.
Tracy and Jay Thomas of Lauderdale announce the birth of a son, Dalton Blake, on Oct. 11, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Diane and Mark Crocker and Larry and Jo Swearingen.
Paternal grandparents are Neal and Gloria Raleigh and Edith Thomas and the late Roy Thomas Sr.
Felicia and Bill Barfield III of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Aisha Nicole, on Oct. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Barfield is the former Felicia Bledsoe.
Erica Stewart of Meridian announces the birth of a son, Rodrick Dunshaw Tingle Jr., on Oct. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Priscilla Scrimpshire and Joey Avera of Shubuta announce the birth of a daughter, Melanie Gaye Avera, on Oct. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Robbie and Gregory Lane of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Hanna Joyce, on Oct. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Lane is the former Robbie Roberts.
Patti and Mark Lowery of Butler, Ala., announce the birth of a daughter, Lauren Michelle, on Oct. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Lowery is the former Patti Fisher.

Mrs. Anderson is the former Sherry Lillis.

Mrs. Cole is the former Kimberly Michelle Bell.
