OBITUARIES FOR FRIDAY, NOV. 9, 2001

ADDIE LEE CLARK MAY
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Addie Lee Clark May will be held today at 10 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby A. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Barrytown Cemetery.
Mrs. May, 87, of Gilbertown, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Benchmark Health Care in Marion.
Survivors include six sons, Jerrell N. May of Roanoke, Ala., Billy C. May and D'Wayne May of Gilbertown, Douglas May of Quitman, H. Lonny May of Mobile and Dale May of Meridian, Miss.; a daughter, Elmer Jean McComb of Moss Point, Miss.; 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. May.
EDDIE LINDELL FOX
Services for Eddie Lindell Fox will be held today at 11 a.m. at Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
Mr. Fox, 55, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, in his home.
OLA LEE WEBB
Retired Upton Drugs sales clerk
NEWTON Graveside services for Ola Lee Webb will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Marrow Cemetery in Neshoba County with the Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Webb, of Marion, formerly of Newton, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of Newton United Methodist church.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Webb and his wife, Peggy, a grandson, Glen Webb and his wife, Jennifer, a sister, Alice Stewart and her husband, Kit, three brothers, George Cummings, Paul Cummings and his wife, Corine, and Roger "Bob" Cummings and his wife, Dorothy, all of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie M. Woodrick Cummings; two sisters, Neddie Galyean and Retha M. Cummings; a brother, John Cummings Jr.; her husband, Charles E. Webb; and her stepmother, Margie Cummings Anderson.
The family requests memorials be made to Guardian Angel Hospice of Marion or Newton United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
OLAPHINE CURRY BINION
Services for Olaphine Curry Binion will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Revs. Merrill Wade, Edward O'Connor and Harriet Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, Ala., at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Binion, 76, of Meridian, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her son, Maurice Binion Jr. and his wife, Liliana, and granddaughter, Meaghan Binion, all of McKinney, Texas; two sisters, Emily C. Hildreth of Meridian and Ruth C. Warner of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, George Curry and his wife, Ann, of Duncanville, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice M. Binion and a daughter, Susan Eileen Binion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trustmark National Bank, P.O. Box 1843, Meridian, MS 39302 or St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the church.
ALICE M. LOWE
Retired house keeping at Riley Hospital
Services for Alice M. Lowe will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel with the Rev. Paul Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Toomsuba.
Mrs. Lowe, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include three children, Laura Hickson, Tommy Lee Gibbs Jr. and Arthur L. Gibbs, all of Los Angeles; five sisters, Mary L. Burton of Lauderdale, Annie M. Clayton of Meridian, Louise Patton of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Maggie Gowdy of Meridian, Mammie Nixon and her husband, Leo, of Cuba, Ala.; five brothers, E.B. Gowdy of Meridian, Frank Gowdy of Moultrie, Ga., Milton Gowdy and his wife, Mary, of Pouland, Ga., Cleveland Gowdy and his wife, Lucy, of Lauderdale and Floyd Gowdy of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and five siblings.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the chapel.
