Entry deadline for Meridian
Christmas parade extended
The Meridian Downtown Association has extended the deadline for entry in the Christmas parade to Nov. 16. Applications can be picked up at LaBiche Jewelers, Trustmark Bank, Loeb's, Liberty Shop, Wrangler Furniture, Harry Mayer's, Caf Latte and Union Planters Bank.
The parade is set for Nov. 29. The theme of this year's parade is Rock 'n' Roll Christmas. The entry fee is $20 per unit.
Seizure symposium
set for Tuesday
The Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi will host a seizure information symposium Tuesday, from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m., in the Meridian Room at Meridian Community College. The event is free and open to the public. For information, call Kim McNeel at 484-8777 or Ruth Tatum at (800) 898-0291.
November is Alzheimer's
Awareness Month
The event will be 9 a.m.-noon at Rush Senior Health North Hills, 5009 Highway 493. A light lunch will be served. To pre-register, call 483-4720.
Sta-Home Hospice
hosts Clergy Day
