Car crashes into municipal courtroom

SMASHED This car plunged into the municipal courtroom at the Meridian Police Department's Sixth Street headquarters Wednesday afternoon. MPD Detective Dean Harper said the car was driven by a woman who had just left the City Hall water payment window area. Instead of turning right, he said, she headed straight for the courtroom.
