Lauderdale County deputies apprehended a man this morning they say robbed Coleman's Zero Store.
Deputies received the call around 8:30 a.m. today. Sheriff Billy Sollie, who was headed to the scene in his patrol car, fell in behind the alleged robber and gave chase. The suspect allegedly threw the stolen money out the window of his car.
Sollie, along with investigator Ricky Presson and a Meridian police officer, apprehended the suspect in the parking lot of J.J.'s nightclub.
Sollie said the stolen money was recovered. The suspect was being transported to the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department at press time.
