    OBITUARIES FOR SATURDAY, SEPT. 29, 2001

    RUFUS BENTON MOULDS
    Retired service station owner
    Graveside services for Rufus Benton "Ben" Moulds will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Horel officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Moulds, 69, of Meridian, died Thursday Sept. 27, 2001 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired owner and operator of a service station and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He worked in the service station business for more than 50 years.
    Survivors include his wife, Edith B. Moulds, two daughters, Mallory Clifford and her husband Keith, of Meridian; and Julie Moulds of Charleston, South Carolina; two sons, Bent Moulds and his wife Karen, and Phillip Moulds and his wife Ashlyn, all of Meridian; four grandchildren, Ryan Clifford, Jerrod and Katie Moulds, and David Ferguson; three sisters, Ruth Johnson and Maxine Moulds of Meridian; and Elouise McCormick of Hickory.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruf and Ruth Moulds, a brother, Cliff Moulds and a sister, Alice Dennis.
    Visitation will be today from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Linford Conard, Billy Joseph, Joe Charles Sanders, Dan Self, Walton Moore, and Doug Bracken.
    ESTELLE B. GLASS
    Homemaker
    Services for Estelle B. Glass will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Buford Usry and Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Glass, 72, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Westwood Baptist Church.
    Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Jackson of Meridian; and Lynne Buchanan of Plano, Tex.; a brother, Fred Bean of Meridian; two sisters, Ida Evans of San Antonio, Tex.; and Claudia Ruth Coker of Brewton, Ala.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Nelson of Union; Kevin Jackson of Meridian; and Michelle Buchanan of Plano, Tex.; two step-grandsons, Asa and Cody Buchanan of Plano, Tex.; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Garrett Nelson of Union.
    DOROTHY LOUISE COODY CHAPMAN
    GILBERTOWN, ALA. Services for Dorothy Louise Coody Chapman will be held today at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery.
    Mrs. Chapman, 77, of Needham, died Thursday Sept. 27, 2001 at Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler.
    Survivors include four sons, Dale and Roy Chapman of Millry; Jimmy Chapman of Marks, Miss.; and Donnie Chapman of Toxey; her daughter, Diane C. Jenkins of Needham; a sister, Fannie Dixon of Gilbertown; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. "Junior" Chapman.
    ED DIXON
    Retired self employed logger
    Services for Ed Dixon will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill AOH Church of God with the Rev. Eldress Melissa Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Dixon, 81, of Meridian, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a retired self employed logger.
    Survivors include six sons, Herman Dixon and his wife Frances, U.L. Dixon and his wife Mildred, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; Eddie Dixon, Rome Dixon and his wife, Virgie, and Jerome Dixon, all of Meridian; Wally Dixon and his wife, Marilyn of Columbus, Ga.; two daughters, Sceneida Phillips and her husband Jackie, of Meridian; and Cecil Baker and her husband Floyd of Los Angeles, Calif.; a foster son, Jessie Winfield of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Jessie Dixon of Mobile, Ala.; and S.L. Wiley of Atmore, Ala.; two sisters, Dessie McGlasker of Mobile, Ala.; and Betty Rembert of Atmore, Ala.; 32 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    ETHEL D. STENNIS
    Services for Ethel D. Stennis will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Parker officiating. Burial will be in Stennis Cemetery in Bailey.
    Mrs. Stennis, 81, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include a daughter, Gertrude Stennis Hellen of Meridian; two sons, Roy M. Stennis and Michael Stennis of Meridian; 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Stennis.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
