OBITUARIES FOR SATURDAY, SEPT. 22, 2001

Memorial services for Sharon Sanborn will be held today at 5 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Phillip Wottrich officiating. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sanborn, 50, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristine Bielefeld and Corema Sanborn, both of Meridian; a son, Lawrence Yetlow of Amarillo, Texas; her mother, Brenda Otis of Marion, Mich.; three sisters, Rhonda Richmond of Texas City, Texas, Gayle Taylor of Columbiaville, Texas, and Jean Anne Winckowski of Lansing, Mich.; a brother, James Otis of Marion; and five grandchildren.

DEKALB Services for Tommie Rush will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Goodway Baptist Church in Philadelphia, with the Rev. W.C. Rush officiating. Burial will be in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rush, 75, of Washington D.C. and formerly of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at Southeast Hospital in Washington D.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Soyna Tolson of Washington D.C.; two sisters, Addie Clemons of Washington D.C. and Willie Mae Adams and her husband, Eugene, of Rex, Ga.; a brother, the Rev. A.C. Rush and his wife, Martha, of Collinsville; four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and six siblings.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
BOBBY JOE RAY

MACON Services for Bobby Joe Ray will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Revs. Robert E. Lee and Wayne Hill officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ray, 65, of Macon, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1962.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ray, a son, Marty Ray, and two grandsons, Dusty Ray and Judd Ray, all of Macon; two sisters, Shirley Boswer of Zypher Hill, Fla., and Dorothy Jean Bush of Laurel; a brother, John Chamblis Ray of Ripley; a step-brother, Jimmy Mixon of Florida; and a step-sister, Emily Pentecost of Altoona, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. and Roonie White Ray.
The family requests memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church Bereavement Fund.
Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
