60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss Huddleston recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 24, 1941, in the Duffee Community of Newton County. A reception was held in their honor on Aug. 25. The event was hosted by Hayes and Shirley McMahan, Darrell and Angela Rowzee, Bryan and Lisa McMahan, Mike and Gail McMahan and the couples' great-grandchildren. Mrs. Huddleston is the former Bernice Alexander.
25th anniversary
Blake and Sheryl Clark of Meridian celebrated their 25th anniversary on Aug. 27, 2001, on a cruise in the Caribbean. They have three sons, Chris, Chad and Josh. Their family will be hosting a reception on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in the Family Life Center at First Assembly of God Church. Family and friends are invited to attend.
