Wrapped around the stem of the bride's bouquet was the pearls belonging to the bridegroom's grandmother. The coin placed in her shoe by her father was presented to her by the Rev. Wheatley, the couple's pastor. She also carried a monogrammed handkerchief given to her by her mother.
