McDonald, Cummings

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Swank McDonald of Butler, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Leigh Ann, to Stacy Warren Cummings, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lavern Cummings of Needham, Ala.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at First Baptist Church of Butler at 5:30 p.m.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mattie Ruth Evans of Lake and the late Elmer Evans; Robert Faucette McDonald of Butler and the late Lucille May McDonald.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Patrician Academy in Butler and received a bachelor's degree and a doctor of pharmacy degree from Auburn University. While attending Auburn, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is employed by Walgreen Pharmacy in Daphne, Ala.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Cummings and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Broadhead, all of Needham.
Mr. Cummings is a graduate of South Choctaw Academy in Toxey, Ala., and received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of West Alabama. He is employed by the State of Alabama Department of Transportation.
