Lauderdale man dies in two-car accident

A two-car accident resulted in the death of a Lauderdale County man Friday evening.
Joel Pace Jr., 34, of 2015 Mosby Road was pronounced dead by Lauderdale County Deputy Medical Examiner Clayton Cobler.
Lauderdale County Coroner Marl Cobler said Clayton Cobler was called to the scene of the accident on Highway 45 South and Luther Walker Road, near the Clarke and Lauderdale county line.
The accident occurred about 6:50 p.m., he said.
Marl Cobler said he doesn't know anything else about the accident at this time. Pace's body will be transported to Jackson for autopsy, he said, and an exact cause of death will be determined there.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials are investigating the accident.
