Services for Gary Wayne Miller will be held today at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Revs. Andy Murray, Hal Bates and James Martin Snowden officiating. Burial will be in Collinsville Baptist Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller, 59, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. Mr. Miller was a graduate of East Central Community College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean Walker Miller of Meridian; two daughters, Tammy White and her husband, Shannon, of Taylorsville, and Terri Stewart and her husband, Mark, of Collinsville; two granddaughters, Lauren Agent of Collinsville and Presley White of Taylorsville; his mother, Neadra Lockwood, a brother, Kent Miller, a nephew, Dave Miller and his wife, Casey, a great-nephew, Luke Miller, and his mother-in-law, Eleze Walker, all of Collinsville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Miller; and his grandparents, Sinclair and Lora Thames, and Henry and Bettie Miller.
The family requests memorials be made to Baptist Children's Village, P.O. Box 27, Clinton, MS 39060.
Pallbearers will be U.S. Postal employees, Glen Reinhold, A.J. Cook, Bobby Boyette, Haskel Smith, Dwayne Havard, Mickey Vick, Melvin Burnett, Franklin McKinney, Howard Mosley and Hank Gandy.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the adult One Men's Sunday School class at First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

QUITMAN Services for William Ray Hurst will be held today at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hurst, 47, of Spring, Texas, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at The Woodlands Memorial.
Survivors include his son, Stoney Hurst of Spring; two daughters, Brandi M. Hurst and Ravan N. Hurst, both of Mobile, Ala.; three brothers, Ottis McDonald and Del Kilpatrick, both of Meridian, and Idos H. McDonald; two sisters, Jeanette B. Lawson of Jackson, Ala. and Hazel McDonald Anthony of Meridian; and two grandchildren.

MACON Services for Orville P. Bell will be held today at 4 p.m. at Brooksville Baptist Church with the Revs. Cornel Daughtry and Dr. Ken Moore officiating. Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bell, 80, of Brooksville, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Noxubee General Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, European Theater.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Bell; two daughters, Donna West of Robbinsville, N.C., and Janice Bell of Atlanta; a son, Steve Bell of Brooksville; three stepdaughters, Diane Loftis of Steens, Glenda Youngblood of Germantown, Tenn. and Kathy Acock of Gulfport; a stepson, Harold McCrimon of Guntown; two sisters, Lucille Greens and Christine Davidson, both of Amory; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Fulton, 89, of Brandon, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Crossgates Nursing Home.
Survivors include her son, Marc W. Johns of Meridian; a daughter, Eldeane Johns Chandler of Jackson; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Alton G. "Al" Land Jr. will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Walter Hughley, Patsy Twiner and Billy Owens officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Land, 53, of Meridian, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was an active member of New Covenant United Methodist Church. Mr. Land was an auctioneer for more than 20 years and a member of the National Mississippi and Alabama Auctioneers Associations. He was also a member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Land and a son, Alton G. Land III, both of Meridian; a sister, Sandra Smith of Citronelle, Ala.; several nieces and nephews; a loving church family and his auction family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton G. Land Sr. and Lucille C. Land.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital or Wesley House.
Pallbearers will be Keith McCary, James Weathers, Dr. Robert E. Everett, Mac McClain, Ed Davis, David Barr, Brian McCary and Randy Rye.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Lou Martin, Glenn Gibson, Lynn Cook, Kelva McRae, John Mozingo and Bruce Pabon.

Mrs. Boykin, 83, of Macon, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Hill of Macon; three sons, David Boykin and Joe Boykin, both of Brooksville, and Bob Boykin of Macon; a brother, Hugh Harrell of Mobile, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Boykin and a son, Wayne Boykin.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Robert S. Rhodes will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rhodes, 100, of Meridian, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
