Wynonna to perform at Silver Star
Silver Hotel and Casino welcomes back one of the brightest stars in country music, Wynonna, in concert, Saturday, April 21 at 8 p.m. in the conference center.
Since starting her solo career in 1992, Wynonna has established her style of music with breakthrough No. 1 hits such as "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light," "No One Else on Earth," "My Strongest Weakness" and "To Be Loved By You."
Tickets may be charged by phone at 1-800-557-0711 or purchased at the Silver Star Box Office. All tickets are non-refundable. Must be 21 years or older to attend. The Silver Star conference center is a non-smoking facility.
Silver Star at Pearl River Resort is owned and operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. Silver Star is located in Philadelphia.

April 21 The Central Mississippi Spring Review Pageant will be held at 4 p.m. at East Central Community College's Huff Auditorium. The entry fee is $35, photo fee is $10. Contestants should wear Sunday dresses. Registration deadline is April 16. For information, call 683-7985.
April 21 The "Elvis Presley Show" featuring a 12-member cast with a live band and a sound and light show at 7 p.m., at Kemper Academy Gymnasium. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students. Children under 4 will be admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or at the Kemper Academy High School office.
May 5 The group, Azusa Street, will be performing at 2 p.m. at the Highland Park Bandstand. The group's musical style is eclectic, progressive Christian music. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call 483-0949 or email WilliamsStrm@aol.com.

Sunday, April 22 Pianist Michael Gurt will present a program at the B'nai B'rith Literary Club at 2:30 p.m.
Monday, April 23 The Atlanta Virtuosi, an ensemble of international reputation, will perform at Crawford Street United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, April 24 John Paul and Shawn Leopard, duo harpsichordists, will perform an all-Spanish program on two Lautenwerk (gut-strung harpsichords), at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
Wednesday, April 25 The B'nai B'rith Literary Club, 721 Clay Street, will host Trio Mississippi, including violinist Stephen Redfield, cellist Dieter WulfLorst, and pianist Mary Ann Stringer, all of the University of Southern Mississippi music faculty, at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 26 The Mississippi Symphony String Quartet will perform a varied chamber music program including significant Spanish works at the old Court House Museum, at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, April 27 Duo-guitarists Natasa Klasinc and Miroslav Loncar will perform a uniquely arranged program of Spanish music at the Old Court House Museum at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 28 Soprano Mary Ann Kyle and pianist Theresa Sanchez will perform a program that includes Luigi Zaninelli's "The Battle for Vicksburg," as well as several Spanish songs at the B'nai B'rith Literary Club at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 29 The Church of the Holy Trinity, 900 South Street, will host Argentine guitarist Roberto Aussel, winner of many international guitar competitions, at 2:30 p.m.
