OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 2001

COLUMBIA Services for Jessie Dyess will be held today at 3 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greens Creek Cemetery with Colonial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dyess, 85, of Meridian, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Guardian Angels Hospice.
She was a homemaker and a member of Arrowood Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Eulus Dyess of Meridian; a sister, Betha Mae Kuhnes of Hattiesburg; a brother, Ford Evans of Columbia; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
CHARLENE GARDNER

UNION Services for Charlene Gardner will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church with the Rev. Barron Pilgrim and Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gardner, 54, of Union, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Laird Hospital.
A retired teacher, Mrs. Gardner was a member of County Line Baptist Church and a former member of the Union Present Day Club.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Gardner of Union; a son, Chris Gardner and his wife, Sundy, of Union; two grandchildren, Ryan and Blaine; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Icem Chaney of Union.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Cleveland, Jerry Fulton, Mack Russell, Rex Gordon, Leon Gardner, Dr. John White, Dr. O.J. Briseno and Kevin Smith.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. today at Milling Funeral Home.
ANNIE MAE SESSION

QUITMAN Services for Annie Mae Session will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Pearlie Grove Baptist Church with the Elder Charles Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Session, 97, of Quitman, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at Pearlie Grove Baptist Church.
DINAH ROSS
Retired
Services for Dinah Ross will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Silas B. Herrington Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Patricia Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Haven Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ross, 95, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at R.P. White Nursing Facility.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at Silas B. Herrington Memorial Chapel.
