    OBITUARIES FOR FRIDAY, FEB. 16, 2001

    JAMES C. ROBINSON
    Graveside services for James C. Robinson will be held today at 11 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Miles officiating. Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Robinson, 48, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
    Mr. Robinson was the owner of Double J. Inc., a trucking company.
    Survivors include a wife, Janice Robinson, a son, Wayne Robinson, and his wife, Tori; a daughter, Heather Robinson; his mother, Rena Robinson; a grandson, Nathan Robinson, all of Meridian; a sister, Mary Nicholson ,and her husband, Jerome, of Mobile, Ala.; four brothers, Norman Robinson, of the Snell Community, Tommy Robinson, of the Kewanee Community, Jackie Robinson, and his wife, Libby, and Billy Robinson and his wife, Patricia, all of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
    Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Robinson.
    Pallbearers will be C.L. Wolverton, Donald Long, Richard Nicholson and James Minchew.
    RUBY LEE NORTON
    PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Ruby Lee Norton will be held today at 11 a.m. at Unity Cemetery in Jefferson County, with the Rev. Dalton Hagan officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Norton, 88, of Port Gibson, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson.
    Survivors include a sister, Mildred O'Neal of Nevada and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Elmo Norton.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Ava Nell Ray will be held today at 3 p.m. at Old Mars Hill Church in Winston County, with the Revs. Bobby Joe Butler and Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Ray, 68, of Plattsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
    Survivors include three daughters, Shari Flake and Shena Rogers, both of Louisville, and Shana Agent of Philadelphia; three sons, Gaylon Ray of La Margue, Texas, John W. Ray Jr. of Friendswood, Texas, and David Ray of Philadelphia; two sisters, Lillie Von Fox of Angleton, Texas, and Johnnie Ruth Johnston of Vicksburg; three brothers, Jimmy, Jerry and Tommy Deweese, all of Jackson; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    FANNIE JANE WRIGHT MARS CHESTNUT

    QUITMAN Graveside services for Fannie Jane Wright Mars Chestnut will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery, with the Revs. Johnny Mosley and Jimmy Seal officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Chestnut, 99, of Quitman, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman. She was born on Dec. 9, 1901, in Clarke County.
    Survivors include two sons, Robert C. Mars and Eddie Chestnut, two daughters, Billie Miller and Evelyn Headrick, and a sister, Gladys Pannel, all of Quitman; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and a special nephew, Raymond "Butch" Jordan of Quitman.
    She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert C. Mars Sr. and Harvey Chestnut; a son, J.W. Mars; and a daughter, Gleanice Heathcock.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    LILLIE MAE MOULDS
    Services for Lillie Mae Moulds will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Claude Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Moulds, 93, of Meridian, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Queen City Nursing Home.
    Mrs. Moulds was a retired day care center worker and homemaker. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also employed as a day care worker at Wonderful World for Children several years. She spent many of her years caring for others.
    Survivors include two daughters, Neil Moulds Corley and her husband, Leroy, Joann Moulds Grantham and her husband, Frank, all of Meridian; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 15 great step-grandchildren.
    Mrs. Moulds was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Moulds.
    The family requests memorials be made to Highland United Methodist Church or the Alzheimers fund.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be several nephews and grandsons.
    SOLOMON MCKINNIS

    QUITMAN Funeral services for Solomon McKinnis will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Hubert Walker officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. McKinnis, 75, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
    He is survived by a brother, Odell McKinnis, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a sister, Lena Harvey, of Carthage.
    There will be a wake today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Quitman.
