Tharptown hosts Waterloo on Friday

Varsity Girls

Tharptown 64, Waterloo 20

The Tharptown Wildcats ended the regular season with a 17-8 record and a big second half of play Friday night. The Wildcats outscored Waterloo 41-6 after halftime to earn their final win of the regular season. Brooke Daniel led Tharptown with 13 points.

Varsity Boys

Tharptown 61, Waterloo 49

The Tharptown Wildcats used a big second quarter to propel them to a victory in their final regular season contest. The Wildcats hit five three-pointers in the second quarter and outscored Waterloo 21-8 to put enough space between themselves and the Cougars to propel them to the win. Nathan Chaney scored 15 points. Blake Gray added 14 points. Kelby Hallmark scored 12 points.
