Marilyn Jeanette Cooper, 70, of Russellville, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Cooper was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of North Russellville Baptist Church.  She was a retired medical office manager.
The funeral service was held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Thomas Thornton and Dewayne Crumley officiating.  Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.   
She is survived by children, Michelle Cooper, of Russellville, Melissa Sheppard, of Muscle Shoals, Joe Cooper and wife, Cindy, of Spruce Pine; mother, Virginia Lawler; three sisters; grandchildren, Shelby Cooper, Montana Sheppard, Macy Sheppard, Blake Sheppard, Kendell Everett, and Ashley McDougal; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Mitchell R. Cooper; brother, Glen Lawler.
Pallbearers were Tracy Bragwell, Mike Stone, Blake Sheppard, Paul Sheppard, Ricky Jackson, and Kevin Clement.
Honorary bearers were Mike Nichols, Jimmy Bragwell, Jim Smith, Lanny Hargrove, Gene Dickinson, Dennis Vinson, and the Russellville High School Class of 1959.
