THS hosts Hubbard

THARPTOWN — The Wildcats conclude a tough two-week stretch Friday when they host R.A. Hubbard.

It will be the second week in a row Tharptown has faced a ranked opponent.

R.A. Hubbard stands atop the Class 2A, Region 8 standings and could pretty much wrap up the top seed with a victory.

The Wildcat defense will have a tough challenge this week shutting down a potent R.A. Hubbard offense that is averaging 24.7 points per game. Tharptown is giving up an average of 37.8 points per game.

Tharptown’s offense will also have a tough time maintaining rhythm against a defense that is giving up 12.7 points per game in region play.
