Darlene Moore Richey, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
Funeral services were held June 5, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Boyles officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Patricia Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Richey; sister, Annette and Timmy Williams; nephew, Corey Williams; niece, Cortny Williams; cousin, Harold Kimbrough.
She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Charles R. Sparks

Charles Rayburn Sparks, 65, of Red Bay, died Monday, June 2, 2008, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born March 9, 1943, to Auburn and Rilla Barker Sparks, who preceded him in death. He was self-employed as owner of Amoco Service Station in Red Bay and was a former member of the Red Bay City Council. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Bay.
Funeral services were held on June 5, 2008, at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial was in Sparks Cemetery in Vina.
He is survived by Dolores Sparks, of Red Bay; daughters, Deanna Browning and her husband, Chad, of Jackson, Tenn., and Freda Morrow and her husband, Chad, of Chico, Texas; son, Stan Sparks and his wife, Brendi, of Water Valley, Miss.; brother, Jimmy Lee Sparks, of Vina; four grandchildren, Stanton Sparks, Shannon Sparks, Logan Browning and Dylan Browning.
Ophelia N. Strickland

Ophelia Nichols Strickland, of Hodges, formerly of Russellville, passed away June 4, 2008, at her residence.
She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Hawkins, of Bethesda, Md., and Deborah Davis, of Troy. She had one grandchild, Zachary Hawkins.
Mrs. Strickland had unshakable faith in Christ and went to join her husband of 60 years, J.C. (Chet) Strickland.
Her career was homemaking.
She insisted that her daughters learn to practice homemaking as an art.
She was a graduate of Hackleburg High School.
Funeral services will be held on June 7, 2008, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Bro. James Nichols officiating.
Burial will be in Old Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
