Ventriloquist entertains at RPL

Squeals of laughter bounced off the shelves of Russellville Public Library as comedian and ventriloquist Gene Cordova put on his “Musical Zoo Revue” June 29.

Cordova combined music, illusions and ventriloquism into his act. Tater the Gator was the gruff-voiced alligator who starred in Cordova’s act. Several children had the chance to participate in the interactive revue as Cordova asked for volunteers that helped fuel the comedy.

The “Musical Zoo Revue” went along with the library’s summer reading program theme “Libraries Rock.”
