FCSO seeks info on sex offender

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a Russellville man in violation of the sex offender registration law.

Barry RC Lane, 27, of 710 Beech St., in Russellville, has been added to the FCSO’s “Most Wanted” list, on sex offender registration law violation and probation revocation.

According to the county’s registry, Lane was convicted in March 2004 of sodomy, second degree. Victim was a 7-year-old boy.

Lane is noted as white, 6 feet, 2 inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He also sports a number of tattoos, which are listed in detail in the sex offender registry at www.franklinsheriff.org.

According to the FCSO, 51 arrests have been made from tips off of the Most Wanted page since September 2012.
