AERA meeting set
Alabama education retirees are invited to attend the AERA Annual District I Meeting on Aug. 14 at the Russellville First United Methodist Church Ministry Center located at 311 North Jackson Avenue in Russellville, Alabama.
The event begins with registration and refreshments at 9 a.m. followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will conclude by 12:30 p.m.
AERA Executive Secretary Janice Charlesworth and AERA President John Paul Jones will present important state information and updates.
Representatives from PEEHIP and MedImpact will also share valuable insurance and prescription information to attendees. So members can get the most updated information, this meeting is held during the PEEHIP open enrollment period.
AERA will offer 2 continuing education units (CEUs) for attending the meeting.
Certificates will be awarded on site. However, the person must stay for the entire meeting to receive them.
All in attendance will receive the 2012-13 PEEHIP Booklet free. This booklet is no longer sent by mail.
All education retirees and especially new retirees are encouraged to attend this meeting.
