Maggie Lee Mathheus, 87, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with James McCullar officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Survivors include children, Linda Copeland and husband, Charles, Russellville, Sheila Thrash and husband, Phil, Tuscaloosa, James Mathheus and wife, Jean, Littleville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Charles Copeland, Jr., Timothy Stone, Jason Stone, R. T. Taylor, Jeff Mathheus and Daniel Bagwell.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leon Earvin Mathheus; parents, Austin Benton and Ila Mae Montgomery; brothers, Carl, Jim, Paul, Irvin, Elmer, Wallace, Elbert, Millard Montgomery; sister, Ruby Nixon.
