Geneva Griffus, 80, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at her residence.
She was a native of Franklin County and had worked as a quality control supervisor for
Warwick Enterprises. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Services were Friday, June 1, 2012, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Vina, with Bro. Lloyd Ray Griffus and Bro. Matthew Haney officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer
Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Bill Griffus, Vina; one daughter, Paulette
Johnson and husband, Hank, Muscle Shoals; two sisters, Cutaw Manasco and Brenda Humphres and husband, Lloyd; two brothers, J.T. Holland and wife, Gladys, and Thurston Holland and wife, Fay; one granddaughter, Angela Collum, and one great-granddaughter, Allie Knigge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delton Holland and Arrie Rollins Holland,
two sisters, Mildred Caudle and Lorene Singleton and three brothers, Fred Holland, R.B.
Holland and F.V. Holland.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Holland, Russ Manasco, Eddie Holland, Teddy Humphres,
Murvin Elrod and Danny Elrod.
