F.V. Holland, 86, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at his residence. He was a farmer and a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Funeral services were Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Vina, with Bro. W.D. Humphres and Bro. Matthew Haney officiating.  Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his wife, Virdie Holland, Vina; three children, Ken Holland and wife, Marilyn, of Fairhope, Eddie Holland and wife, Carolyn, Golden, Miss., and Dianne Williams and husband, Ed, Vina; four grandchildren, Daphne Sawyer and husband, Stephen, Cynthia Lentz and husband, Scotty, Ben Williams and wife, Amber, and Carissa Williams; six great grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, J.T. Holland, Cutaw Manasco, Geneva Griffus, Thurston Holland and Brenda Humphres; his caregiver, Sunny Holland; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, Fred Holland, Mildred Caudle, Lorene Singleton and R.B. Holland; a granddaughter, Tiffany Holland; a great grandson, Austin Holland and his parents, Delton and Arrie Rollins Holland.

Pallbearers were Stephen Sawyer, Scotty Lentz, Steven Singleton, Russell Manasco, Ben Williams and Ronnie Holland.
