Jessie Osborn, 78, Phil Campbell, Ala., died Saturday, September 10, 2011.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Smith officiating.  Interment was in Center Cemetery in Lawrence County, Ala.

Pallbearers were Billy Osborn, Derek Baker, Al Herring, Brian Osborn, Jereld Osborn, Don Sanders. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Thompson and James Dale Burnett .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Ellis and Eula Osborn; brothers, Villard Osborn, Truitt Osborn, Jackie Osborn; and infant sister.

He is survived by his loving companion, Betty Osborn; children, Jewell Sherwood and husband, Charles, Gerald Osborn and wife, Nellie, Tammy Baker, Jessica Strickland and husband, Jonathan; sister, Estell Fair; grandchildren, Wendy Thompson, Brian Osborn, Jereld Osborn, Shannon Herring, Stephanie Osborn, Derek Baker, Emily Baker, Braxton Strickland; 12 great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews.
