Nannie Ruth Kosmos, 92, of Red Bay, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Red Bay Hospital.  She was a native of Mississippi and a factory worker for 45 years.

There will be a private family service. Burial will be in The Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala. will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by six nieces, Tula Mae Pearson, Jean Long and Linda Pounders, all of Red Bay, Ala., Gloria Morrow, of Hackleburg, Ala., Dale Rushing, of Iuka, Miss. and Cynthia Fountain, of Gulf Shores, Ala. and three nephews, Kenneth Hammock, of Cabot, Ark., Harold Hutcheson, of Belmont, Miss. and Larry Hammock, of Golden, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kosmos in 1997.
