G.B. Stanley, 84, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy James officiating.  Interment was in Tharptown Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Indiana Stanley; brother, Donald Gene Stanley.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 65 years, Carrie Nell Stanley; daughter, June Stanley; son, Jimmy Stanley and wife, Rhonda; brother, James Walker Stanley and wife, Patsy; grandchildren, Jay Stanley and wife, Monica, Joy Braton and husband, Matt, Shawna Stanley; great- grandchildren, Isaac Alexander, Isabella Braton, Sarah Stanley.

He was retired from Reynolds Metal Company and was a member of Newburg Masonic Lodge.
