Mary Ilene Koch, 55, of Phil Campbell, Ala., died Friday, May 20, 2011, at Russellville Hospital.

Mrs. Koch was a native of Oregon but had lived in this area for the past 20 years.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 23, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Mark Daniel officiating.  Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell. 

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Arnold Pounders, of Phil Campbell; mother, Barbara Wright; children, Thomas Koch and Pricila Koch; step-children, Earl Pounders and wife, Cynthia, Denice Ogle and husband, Bill, Pat Pounders and wife, Rebecca, Waylon Pounders and wife, Sabrina, all of Phil Campbell; sisters, Hazel Lindsey, Juanita Junior, Anita Holt, Debbie Warden, Dovie Junior; brothers, Cecil Junior, Billy Junior, Ricky Junior; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Junior.
