Pauline Benson Cleveland, 98, of Belgreen, passed from this life on Sunday, May 8, 2011.

She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, born and lived in a community near Belgreen, until the latter part of her life when she required medical assistance and nursing home care.  She was a devout member of the Church of Christ and faithfully attended Bradley’s Chapel as long as she was physically able to attend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rance L. Cleveland; one son, James Hollis Cleveland; a granddaughter, Nancy Stolz; her parents, William Arthur and Myrl Benson; brother, William Benson; sisters, Eunice Boshell, Evelyn Bragwell and Roena Hargett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jackie Richardson and Bro. Larry Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.

She is survived by her two sons, John Horace Cleveland and his wife, Marie, of Sheffield, and Thomas Cleveland, of Russellville; one daughter, Betty Weatherly, of Brandon, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; 26-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of relatives and friends.

The pallbearers will be her grandchildren. The honorary pallbearers will be Greg Johnston and Jamy Poss.
