Martha Lou Pace, 64, of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011.

Martha Pace was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, mother-in-law, friend, and most importantly, a beloved grandmother.  She loved being with her family.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Her entire life was filled with children.  She taught 2nd grade for 36 years, Junior Sunday School for 40 years, was a Weight Watchers leader for many years, and a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma.  She was member of First Baptist Church of Phil Campbell her entire life.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lance and Edna Lucille Nix.

She is survived by husband of 46 years, Henry Pace; sons, Brian Pace and wife, Amy, Steven Pace and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Maggie Pace, Mary Claire Pace, Emmy Pace, Erica George, Jamie Kirby; sister, Judy Evett; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the type of person who touched and influenced everyone she met.  Although she will be greatly missed on this earth, heaven gained a true treasure.  Proverbs 31:10-31 is how she lived her whole life.
