Arrest made for porn images on cell

Officers with the Red Bay Police Department wrapped up a month-long investigation on Thursday involving a local man who was sending and receiving pornographic images on his cell phone.

Anthony Blake Parker, 31, 50 6th Ave., Red Bay, was arrested on warrants for possession of child pornography and electronic solicitation of a child, Red Bay Police Chief Janna Jackson said.

According to Jackson, the parent of a juvenile filed a report in February stating Parker was involved in obscene communications with their daughter.

Jackson said a month-long investigation followed the allegations, and after executing a search warrant, officers discovered the obscene pictures on Parker’s cell phone and issued warrants for his arrest.

Jackson said the case is still under investigation.

Parker was released from custody on Thursday on a $20,000 bond.
