Lonnie Ray Hill, 69, of Russellville, Ala. passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at Russellville Hospital.  He was born in Walker County, Ala. on February 18, 1942.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Hill and Ethel Rogers Pierce; sister, Jewell Dotson Gist; brother, James Hill.

He is survived by a daughter, Teresa Carmack; sister, Pearl Green; grandchildren, Andrea and Jason.
