Miranda Nicole McDuffa, 29, of Hodges, Ala., formerly of Haleyville, Ala., passed away March 1, 2011.  She attended Old Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Venlon Bradford and James Phillips officiating.  Burial was in Old Union Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Brandon McDuffa; children, Blaine McDuffa and Dacey Grace McDuffa; parents, Rod and Vicki Humphres; sister, Allison Humphres and boyfriend, David Hyde; grandfather, G.B. Hornsby; grandmother, Nellie Humphres; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Freda McDuffa; grandmother-in-law and grandfather-in-law, Jack and Mae Lovett; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Dorothy Hornsby; grandfather, Sidney Humphres; grandmother-in-law, Ruby McDuffa; and grandfather-in-law, William McDuffa.
