Local man arrested after flashing gun
A local man is in custody after authorities said he flashed a gun while being questioned by police.
Ramon Ariel Hernandez, 18, 716 South Jackson Ave., was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, investigators said.
According to reports, Sgt. Joe Hargett was in the Washington Avenue area on Wednesday morning when he made contact with Hernandez, who was believed to have several outstanding warrants.
When questioned by Hargett, Hernandez pulled a gun out of his coat and stuck it into his pants, officials said.
Hernandez was arrested without incident for carrying the concealed .38 caliber revolver.
Hernandez is currently being held in the Russellville City Jail pending a motion to revoke his bond on previous burglary and theft charges.
