Norma Jo Jackson, 78, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at Burns Nursing Home.

Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Tharptown Baptist Church.  She was retired from Jackson Feed & Seed.

Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Tharptown Cemetery.  Burial will follow immediately after the service.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Emily Jo Jackson, of Hamilton; sister, Betty Moore, of Trussville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hugh E. and Lillian Smith; one brother and three sisters.
