Madie Mann Barton, 76, of Delmar, Ala. passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at her residence.

She was born Feb. 23, 1934 in Winston County.  She was retired from Haleyville Textile and was a Baptist.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Rev. Ronnie Melvin officiating.  Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolphus and Millie Mann; sisters, Mildred June Woody, Martha Stewart; and brother, George Mann.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward Barton; son, Ronnie Barton and wife, Jenny; grandson, Jason Barton and wife, Jennifer; great-grandson, Andrew Barton; brothers, James Earl Mann and wife, Nell, and Bobby Joe Mann and wife, Shirley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
